In November 2024, WMS Nordic invested in a new bale opener for our sorting line in Falkenberg. This initiative is part of our effort to improve productivity, working conditions, and recycling processes.
“We will increase productivity, improve conditions for our staff, and reduce the amount of combustible waste, as plastic will be easier to sort,” says Christian Stridsberg, COO and co-owner of WMS Nordic.
Improved Sorting and New Opportunities
The new bale opener is not only an improvement for our current sorting process. It also enables us to handle materials that we previously lacked the capacity to manage. By enhancing the process, we can expand our service offerings and ensure that more materials are recycled and reused, rather than sent to incineration or landfill.
