WMS Nordic continues its expansion and long‑term investment strategy.
In October 2025, the company installed a brand‑new Presona LP 85 baler at its recycling facility in Falkenberg — replacing the older unit and significantly increasing capacity and efficiency.
The new baler provides greater flexibility, higher throughput and the ability to handle more material types.
“The Presona LP 85 optimizes outbound logistics and enables us to bale more materials thanks to cross‑tying. This means less air and higher weight per truckload,” says Christian Stridsberg, Co‑Owner and COO at WMS Nordic.
During the project, WMS also reorganised the entire facility layout to accommodate larger volumes of plastic for recycling.
“The restructuring allows us to receive and secure even more plastic for recycling,” Christian adds.
Looking ahead, WMS has ambitious plans.
“We will continue strengthening our customer offering and operational capabilities throughout 2026. Our intention is to double our capacity in the near future,” says Björn Peters, CEO and Co‑Owner.
This expansion reinforces WMS Nordic’s position as one of the leading players in plastic recycling and circular material management in the Nordic region.
